Life has a funny way,
To reveal to us things,
Some we consider bad,
Others we count as blessings.

Like a friendship that grows,
Without being near,
Or a random surprise,
To show that you care.

A simple text which,
Changes someone’s day,
Just to say hi or hello,
Or ask if they’re ok.

Reading a book,
A name just comes to you,
You get this smile,
And share it with the person too.

I guess what I’m trying to say,
Is kind of, sort of, true,
I want you to know,
Somehow I’m thinking of you.
