The Pledge:
Everyone deserves to be respected for who they are. I pledge to spread this message to my friends, family and neighbors. I’ll speak up against hate and intolerance whenever I see it, at school and at work. I’ll provide hope for lesbian, gay, bi, trans and other bullied teens by letting them know that “It Gets Better.”

Why do I support them?
Simply put, this website aims at bringing support to those who are treated with hate, disrespect and malice because they are deemed “different” from what the rest of the world sees as “normal”. They bring HOPE to those who feel like their only way out of  all this is through suicide & it sends a message to them that IT GETS BETTER.

My Its Gets Better Story:
We have all gone through school and we all know its not an easy place to get by. If you are not one of the popular kids in school, chances are you have been a target. My very first day in primary school I believe I was about four (4) or five (5) years old was picked on by a kid who was Eleven (11) or Twelve (12). For whatever reason he would just come to my classroom, slap me around and take my lunch and then leave. My guess it was because I was the one of the new kids and I was small, so naturally I was a target. This went on for quite some time and I hated to go to school. What made it even worse was that I was scared to tell anyone, cause I was threatened with being “beat up”
