Hot Topic – On Air – The Return Promo

We are in the news room where we are told that Animemax and Prototype have a major announcement to make concerning the future of Project T5x and Hot Topic.

Director: Guys we go live in a Minute
Animemax: (mumbles quietly to Prototype) I can’t believe this is happening…
Prototype: (Prototype cuts him off) I know.
Animemax: (Animemax continues) who does this new guy think he is…? He just walks in and thinks he owns the place.

Director: Guys… Guys… Live in 5, 4, 3 (Prototype and Animemax fix their Suit and take their respective places on screen) 2, 1 and you’re on.

Prototype: Hello all and welcome back. As many of you are well aware, our website has been inactive for some time now, but that’s all about to change. Project T5x is under new management and our new “Boss” has some ideas that they think can bring the site back up to a standard higher than where it used to be.

(Animemax smirks at this comment and Prototype hits him in his chest. Animemax coughs, watches the camera and forces a smile)

Prototype: Some items of our site will be changed, some new stuff will be implemented and some of our content has to be toned down.
Animemax: Toned down… What do you mean toned dow… What exactly do we
have to tone down on?
Prototype: Well, um, let’s see here… (Prototype flips through some pages and stops)… well there is something here on Hot Topic.
Animemax: (Animemax exclaims) HOT TOPIC! (He watches the camera and again forces a smile. He loosens his tie and lowers his voice) Hot topic? What about Hot Topic?

Prototype: (clears throat) Well it says here…”You can only use words such as ass, damn, hell and bitch in your scripts…” (Animemax raises his eyebrows as Prototype continues reading…) “You cannot however use words such as Sh*t, F*ck, God Dammit, Fagot, or any other racial and or sexual slurs.” (Prototype watches over at Animemax who seem to be a bit uneasy about the new terms of Hot Topic. Prototype continues reading…)” Also there must be fewer references to the word “dick”… ”

 (Animemax burst out)

Animemax: Ah Sh*t!
Prototype: Hey (as he slaps Animemax again on his chest) Watch your f*cking mouth!
Animemax: (Animemax stupes and shrugs his shoulders. He mumbles to himself…) Well F*ck me.
Prototype: (Turns away from Animemax and pounds the table and says…) God Dammit… F*ck!

They both then watch each other and slowly turn towards the camera. They both force a smile as everyone from the Studio stares at them with wide open jaws. The Video feed cuts to black and we hear both Animemax and Prototype exclaim…. F*ck!
